At Yaxley Infant School, children learn within three welcoming and nurturing classes: Robins, Owls and Kites. Our classes are carefully organised to provide children with the best possible learning experiences while supporting their academic, social and emotional development.

Robins Class is our Reception class, where children begin their journey through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Owls Class is a mixed Reception and Year 1 class, enabling children to benefit from a carefully planned curriculum that supports progress across both year groups. Kites Class is our Year 1 class, where children continue to build on the strong foundations established in the Early Years.

Across all classes, children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning within a supportive and inclusive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their best.
