Welcome to Year 2

Welcome to Year 2, where children continue to grow as confident, independent and enthusiastic learners as they approach the end of Key Stage 1.

Our Year 2 children are taught in two classes, Starlings and Peacocks, which are situated alongside one another. The classes work closely together, creating a strong sense of teamwork and community while ensuring every child receives high-quality teaching and support.

Year 2 is an exciting and important year, building on the foundations developed in Reception and Year 1. Children are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for their learning, develop resilience when faced with challenges and deepen their understanding across the curriculum.

We work closely with families to ensure that every child feels happy, supported and challenged to achieve their very best. We look forward to an exciting year of learning, growth and achievement in Starlings and Peacocks Class. ⭐🦚✨
