The Friends of Yaxley Infant School play a vital role in supporting our school community. Through fundraising events, volunteering and bringing families together, the Friends help to enrich the experiences of all our children while strengthening links between home and school.

Throughout the year, the Friends organise a range of enjoyable events for children and families, including discos, themed celebrations, seasonal events, bake sales and community activities. These events not only raise valuable funds for the school but also create wonderful memories and opportunities for families to come together.

Funds raised by the Friends have helped to provide additional resources and experiences for our pupils, including technology, special events, trips and treats that enhance school life and support children's learning and wellbeing.

Get Involved

We are always looking for new members to join our Friends team.

Whether you can offer a small commitment or a larger one, every contribution makes a difference. You may be able to:

• Attend planning meetings
• Help at a school event
• Bake for a sale
• Share ideas for fundraising
• Support with setting up or tidying away
• Volunteer occasionally when your schedule allows

There is no expectation to commit large amounts of time. Any support, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated and helps us continue to provide exciting opportunities for our children.
