At our school, we believe that happy children are successful learners. Our Personal Development Offer provides a wide range of opportunities that support children's wellbeing, confidence, character development and personal growth.
Alongside our ambitious curriculum offer, we provide enriching experiences that help children develop emotionally, socially and culturally. Through activities such as emotional wellbeing sessions, cooking, teamwork games, parachute play, outdoor learning and sensory stories with Pam, children learn to understand and manage their emotions, build positive friendships, develop resilience and celebrate their individuality in a safe and supportive environment.
We enrich learning through a variety of memorable events and experiences, including World Book Day, Anti-Bullying Week, charity fundraising, themed curriculum days and visits from a range of visitors and professionals. These opportunities bring learning to life, encourage a love of learning and help children develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Being an active part of our local community is important to us. Children have opportunities to visit and support local groups, including spending time with members of the local dementia group and singing at a local care home at Christmas. These experiences help children develop empathy, kindness, respect and an appreciation of different generations and life experiences.
We are committed to providing children with real-life experiences that inspire curiosity, broaden horizons and create lasting memories. Whether through educational visits, community projects, performances, leadership opportunities or special events, we aim to develop confident, responsible and aspirational young people who are well prepared for life beyond our school.
