We believe that it is important to give children a voice. This helps to develop sound democratic principles at an early age and helps our children feel they are responsible for the school and the people in it. 

Our School Council meets monthly to discuss relevant issues and make recommendations. Each class also has a forum made up of all class members. These class forums influence the school council and help to inform whole school development.

The council is comprised of two members from each class who are elected to represent the views of their classmates.
