Reading
Hopefully you have at least a few books left (on the right level) on Oxford Owls to read. https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/
for an extra challenge you could also try reading a book on the next level too.
If not, there are lots of things you can read instead. I'm sure you have some books at home and if not, comics, magazines, newspapers! If none of those take your fancy you could go for a walk and read street signs, get them to read your shopping lists, labels on your parcels , or packaging on everyday items found in your cupboards, such as food items. You could read song lyrics or even try and read some of the messages on here!
I have also uploaded additional phonic based sheets, focusing on our target sound of the day. You can get your child to read the real and nonsense words and write down the real words. There is also a game " Roll and Read " where you child can read words containing " ue " [oo] and " ue " [y,oo].
Happy reading everyone!
