Autumn Term 1

What a brilliant first few days we have had in the EYFS. The children have settled in amazingly well, coming in with huge smiles on their faces right from the start. We are so proud of them all!

We have been exploring the areas inside and outside, how to use them and how to tidy away correctly. We have even had a sneaky go on the trim trail on the main playground, whilst the rest of the school were inside. The children have been sharing with us their 'All about me' posters, which we have on our main display and we have had lots of time to get to know each child individually. It's wonderful to see how confident they are in our environment already.

We are so lucky to have been able to introduce our new woodwork bench and tools this week. The children have surprised us with how well they can use the hammer and nails, and have already been coming up with some wonderfully creative ideas of what they can make next.
