Our School
Our school is situated in the large and pleasant village of Yaxley, five miles from Peterborough and just two miles from the A1 motorway.
At Yaxley Infant School we place a high emphasis on childrens' happiness and well-being with a focus on social and emotional aspects of learning as well as academic progress, aiming to meet the needs of the whole learner.
We offer a highly creative curriculum with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment coupled with high expectations and standards of attainment.

Partnerships with parents and links with the community are very important to us as are opportunities for children to develop a range of skills and interests beyond the curriculum eg. languages, gardening, music, soccer, art and dance.
We offer support and activities for families through our Family Link Workers and parents/carers are welcome to attend coffee mornings, drop-ins, homework club, Family SEAL.
The school has a strong team of highly skilled and dedicated teachers and support staff who are committed to the school and its development.
