Today's subtraction activities are all about 'word problems'. These are just like little maths stories! As Mrs. Wiltshire says.. use whichever way of working it out you find the easiest (I have attached the number line again and a photo of some blank tens frames in case that is your preferred method but you can draw your own or do a part whole model or even try and work it out in your head or on your fingers using number bonds to help you).

There's a couple of questions with Mrs. Wiltshire and IF you'd like any extra I have attached some worksheets with a few more word problems. OR you might want to just try Mrs. Wiltshire's extra challenge and find all the ways to complete the number sentence at the end of the video.
