Hello everyone,
We hope you are all managing to keep safe and well. Here is an overview of the activities you can do at home with your children should you wish, these are just ideas and you can do as little or as much as you wish. We are also adding these activities to Tapestry so please make sure that you check in there regularly too.
Monday:
Can you perform a song that you know?
Mrs Welch will upload a song to tapestry. Can you think of a song that you really like and perform it? You could add your own actions, create your own costume and you can even have a go at writing your own lyrics. There are lots of ways you can extend these challenges to suit the needs of your own child.
Wednesday:
Can you take a photo of something that is making you happy right now?
You could then upload the picture to tapestry and the children could have a go at using the keypad to type a label/sentence to go with it. Alternatively they could draw a picture of something that is making them happy and then writing a label/sentence to go with it.
Friday:
Can you use your tricky word mat?
Mrs Harding will upload on to Tapestry a video of how to use the 'tricky word' mat. Can you copy some of the activity ideas and have a go yourself? Remember this can easily be extended to if you feel your child needs it, for e.g. writing a sentence with a tricky word in it.
