Welcome to Year One

At Yaxley Infant School we have two Year One Classes - Green Class & Yellow Class.

We are passionate about making learning fun through our creative curriculum.

We follow key themes throughout the year and ensure we include the children's interests and ideas. We use Tapestry to share their learning and encourage children and parents to share their learning from home.

We love to take our learning outdoors as much as we can by using our exclusive outdoor area as well as our woodland classroom. Each week we take part in Forest School activities such as den building, hunting for minibeasts and we often enjoy a hot chocolate to warm us up during the colder weather.
